Service Program

11.06.2023 r.

We are glad you were able to join this morning. Should you have any questions or want to talk, after the service our pastors and leaders will be available up front.

Please take precautions like wearing a mask, distance and disinfection hands.

I MUSIC

Our meetings start with music and singing together.
The songs we choose worship God and lead us to focus on Him. Lyrics are projected on a screen so all can join the singing. During that time tithes and offerings are collected.

II SENDING CHILDREN TO CLASSES IN GROUPS

During the sermon, all children can participate in organized activities, during which
they are looked after by our teachers. Classes will take place in the rooms in hall building. After the worship, all the children gather in the hall next to the reception desk and go to classes with the volunteer. After the sermon, the children are brought to the main / gymnasium. In the hall building, in the interests of the sports surface, please make sure that children playing on it take off their shoes or change them to sports shoes.

III SERMON

Lucyna Pawlik

English Standard Version (ESV)

Luke 18: 18-34

18 And a ruler asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 19 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone. 20 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother.’” 21 And he said, “All these I have kept from my youth.” 22 When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “One thing you still lack. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” 23 But when he heard these things, he became very sad, for he was extremely rich. 24 Jesus, seeing that he had become sad, said, “How difficult it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God! 25 For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?” 27 But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” 28 And Peter said, “See, we have left our homes and followed you.” 29 And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, 30 who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the age to come eternal life.” 31 And taking the twelve, he said to them, “See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written about the Son of Man by the prophets will be accomplished. 32 For he will be delivered over to the Gentiles and will be mocked and shamefully treated and spit upon. 33 And after flogging him, they will kill him, and on the third day he will rise.” 34 But they understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they did not grasp what was said.

IV COMMUNION

Communion packages are available at the tables.

The Communion Table in our church is open to all who have made the decision to trust Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. If you haven’t made that decision yet, you can spend this time praying and if you would like you can use one of the prayers provided below. If you are ready to make the decision to trust Jesus, you can use the Prayer of Belief and then join us in Communion if you will. Should you make that decision today, please let one of the pastors know so they can help you with the next steps to build and grow in your relationship with God

Prayer for Those Searching for Truth

Lord Jesus, you claim to be the way, the truth, and the life. Grant that I might be undaunted by the cost of following you as I consider the reasons for doing so. If what you claim is true, please guide me, teach me, and open me to the reality of who you are. Give me an understanding of you that is coherent, convincing, and that leads to the life you promise. Amen

Prayer of Belief

Lord Jesus Christ, I admit that I am weaker and more sinful than I ever dared admit, but through you I am more loved and accepted than I ever dared hope. I thank you for paying my debt on the cross, taking what I deserved in order to offer me complete forgiveness. Knowing that you have been raised from the dead, I turn from my sins and receive you as my Savior and Lord. Amen (1)

(1) If you prayed this prayer for the first time today, please let one of our pastors know.
