COUNT ME IN

WE ACT

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Galatians 5:13 (ESV)

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

We’re here to help children, together with their parents, to discover who God is and to build a living relationship with Him. We want to make the Bible a textbook for their lives. We want children to discover, find, and feel that they have their place in our fellowship and we want them to grow in the awareness of God's love and almighty power. There is a registered catechetic centre in our church and we have Sunday school lessons for children aged 3-13 in various age groups during our services. Depending on the need, we have lessons in Polish and in English. We organize various events for children throughout the school year.

WORSHIP MINISTRY

Through music and singing, we want to help people glorify God during our services and meetings. We desire to create an atmosphere in which opening our hearts before God and standing before Him with trust is easier that in our everyday work and duties.

CAMPUS MINISTRY

We are a group of young people who love God. We meet in Bible study groups to get to know His Word and learn how we can practice it in our lives together. We organize discussion meetings with famous people, events, concerts, films, and retreats. We value building relationships with students, having interesting conversations, good fun, and sharing our interests.

USHERS

We prepare the room and its surrounding area for Sunday service. We also help during the service to make sure everything goes according to the plan. To some extent, we function as a cleaning service as well; making sure the room where we spend time together is clean and nice. We have the privilege of greeting people as they enter the auditorium and welcoming guests who visit us.

THE ELDER'S COUNCIL

The council exists to lead the church. They make decisions concerning the direction and current activities of our fellowship. It consists of four people. The elder pastor presides over the council.

KCHK GROUPS

They exist to gather people in small groups in order to build relationships with God and others through regular meetings and sharing our passions and interests. As we say, it’s better to travel in groups.

YOUTH MINISTRY

For teenage followers of Christ who value good relationships, meaningful conversations, relaxed atmosphere, and tasty food.

MISSIONS

EVERY NATION CAMPUS KRAKÓW

Every Nation Campus is a student ministry in KChK that has been functioning for the last three years. It started as Operation Destiny 3:16, then its name was changed to Every Nation Campus Kraków. Tomasz Chudy started and leads this ministry. Gabriela Nowacka and Mateusz Harpeniuk are the coordinators. ENC focuses mainly on reaching out with the Gospel to students and young working people. They also emphasize making students disciples of Jesus Christ and helping them to discover how they can serve God with their gifts and talents. Apart from regular student meetings, ENC organizes integration retreats where students can build lasting and valuable relationships with one another as well as build their faith and relationship with God. As one of our ENC leaders says, "We believe that our work is extremely important”. They live out their obedience to Jesus who said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Mathew 28: 19-20) Their service is an expression of our love for people and desire that many people would have a chance to hear the Gospel and receive the greatest gift of salvation.

EWA KRASOŃ – MISSIONS OVERSEAS

IMG_2562 (1)

Ewa currently lives in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, where she serves with the international missions organization Youth With a Mission (YWAM). She is part of a Bible distribution project that started in 2019 as part of the global Ending Bible Poverty initiative. The goal is to reach every family in Mongolia with the Word of God and the Gospel. She also teaches at a local university, where she has the opportunity to interact and build relationships with young people from Mongolia as well as other countries. Her heart is to see this precious nation transformed by the gospel and to see many Mongolian believers equipped and sent out into missions - within their own country and internationally.

IREK AND MARYLA CZUBAKOWIE

Irek and Maryla Czubakowie have been working in the interest of the Chosen Nation for years. They started their foundation, Polania, a few years ago. They are trying to create space for unity and understanding between Jewish and Christian communities in Poland. One of the results of their work is the celebration of the Jewish Passover that takes place every year at the Franciscan Church in Krakow as a result of the cooperation between churches in Krakow and the community of Messianic Jews. This Passover Seder night allows people to learn the meaning of this celebration, its traditions and customs, and to understand its correlation with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Their greatest desire is to find ways to help the Jewish nation effectively, especially in Ukraine and Moldavia, which they have been doing for many years. They organize trips of Christians from various countries to central Ukraine where they minister through their service and finances to the local Jewish community. They build friendships during these trips and in this way they change the way Jews and Christians think of one another. They are also involved in helping in Israel. The number of inhabitants has increased greatly in a very short time as a result of organizations working to help Jews return to their native country. Despite aid from Israel, there are so many of them that it is very difficult to start a new life. There are cases where people who survived the Holocaust and spent many years in the Eastern block are now suffering financially in their new situation and conditions. As a local community, we want to bless Israel by supporting those who help the Jewish nation and its minorities all over the world.

HOMELESS MEN'S SHELTER MINISTRY, KRAKÓW

Misja_1

It all started with one man, Franciszek and a step of obedience. I met Franciszek at “Lidl” where he collected the shopping carts in order to earn some money. We started talking and soon I realized that God had put this man into my life. Franciszek led me to the shelter where he lived and I was introduced to some amazing people who served there. Friendships developed with the director, psychologist, and the other caregivers. In the fall of 2015, we were able to organize with the church our first event. We created an afternoon with families, kids, and singles. We interacted with the men through games, dances, and shared the Gospel with them. By then, Franciszek was already a regular visitor at church. Through our charity fund, we helped the shelter to renovate their meeting hall and on Christmas 2016 we organized a beautiful Christmas service there. Before Easter 2017, a group of people mostly from our church performed the Mark Drama at the shelter and again men were touched by Christ’s love and care. God put us there to be his light and we pray that He leads and guides us in this ministry. But again, it all started with one man and a step of obedience.

FINANCES

Generosity and finances are topics mentioned in the Bible very often. Generosity is nothing less than willingness to give money, but at the same time, a lot more than just money. The Bible shows us that a generous heart uses other currencies such as willingness to forgive and hospitality. The grace we have experienced from God through Jesus Christ is the main motivation for generosity in our lives. Jesus, although he had everything, gave up everything for us in order to save us. In his godly generosity, Jesus paid our debt to God.

Finances are one of the first tests of generosity because they are easy to count. In our fellowship, the Elders manage finances with the Financial Board’s help. At the beginning of each year, we present last year's financial report to the whole congregation as well as the budget planned for the coming year. In KChK you can give in two ways: by transferring money to our bank account or during Sunday services.

Every month part of our income is directed toward our savings fund, charity fund, missions and evangelism fund and to support regional and global actions of Every Nation. The rest goes into the main account and is used for our current expenses connected with the functioning of our church community. As elders, we are available to provide any information connected with the finances in our church.
